Volunteering as a recreational coach is a great way to spend time with your child, get away from your desk, and get some exercise!  As coaches, we have the opportunity to teach our players life-long lessons about respect, teamwork, work ethic, communication, trust, and selflessness, all while building on our players' self-confidence.  It's also tons of fun!

This page is your resource for gameday links for reporting scores and completing your game reports.  You will also find links for requesting game changes, as well as lots of other useful information for recreational coaches.

This guide is designed for coaches and member town representatives and consists of best practices to be considered during recreational game play, as well as the process for reporting inconsistencies that may arise throughout the season. It is the responsibility of the member representatives to review these Policies and Procedures on a regular basis to ensure that it is updated and inclusive of any and all opportunities to create a positive experience for all players from all participating towns. It is the duty of each town’s representative to share this document with all coaches, players, and families prior to each season and immediately following any version updates.

The HEADS UP initiative provides important information on preventing, recognizing, and responding to a concussion.

Appropriate diagnosis, referral, and patient and family/caregiver education are critical for helping patients with concussions achieve optimal recovery and to reduce or avoid significant adverse health outcomes.  Player safety is the number one priority of the SNHRec Soccer League, and we recommend becoming familiar with the 6-step return to play progression and what checkpoints should be followed before allowing a recently concussed player to return to gameplay.
