Formats of Play
U10
Games are run by a single referee, but ARs may be added as a training opportunity for new referees. Games are played in two 25-minute halves. Format is 7v7 with goalies (no punting). Opposing players clear to build out line for goal kicks. No offsides. All other rules apply. Scores are reported by coaches. Referees are responsible for reporting any cautions (yellow cards) or send-offs (red cards). Size 4 ball.
U12
U12 introduces 2 ARs to accompany the Center referee. Games are played in two 30-minute halves. Format is 9v9 with goalies. Offsides will be called and all other rules apply. Scores are reported by coaches. Referees are responsible for reporting any cautions (yellow cards) or send-offs (red cards). Size 4 ball.
U15 & U18
U15 & U18 continue with a Center referee and 2 ARs. Games are played in two 40-minute halves for U15 and 45-minute halves for U18. Format is 11v11 with goalies. All rules of the game apply. Scores are reported by coaches. Referees are responsible for reporting any cautions (yellow cards) or send-offs (red cards). Size 5 ball.
Referee Pay
Referees will be paid twice per season- once following week 4 for games officiated in the first 4 weeks and again at the end of the season for any additional games officiated in the second half of the season. Direct deposit is available by adding your deposit account information to your referee account. If a deposit account does not exist, referees will be mailed a check.
